In December 2011, Medina ISD will be taking nominations for the gifted and talented program in grades K-12. Information on the nomination process will be sent home with students. Students may be nominated by a parent or a teacher. Deadline for nominations is December 16, 2011. If a student is nominated for the gifted and talented program, parental permission will be obtained before further evaluation is conducted. Students who qualify for the program will be offered an enriched curriculum in the regular classroom. For more details, contact the school counselor.
